So, what's the secret to easier guitar.....

It's the first question I get. How is your system easier?

...because in standard tuning E A D G B E, your guitar is not particularly useful to you, at the start. Think about all you have to master just to get a decent sound out of your shiny new instrument:

1) you have to make sure it's in tune

2) you have to memorize one or more (actually many) chord shapes with your chording (usually your left) hand

3) you have to get your chording hand used to the difficult positions and stretches to create those usable sounds

4) you have to get your strumming/picking (usually your right) hand coordinated and strumming appropriately to create a nice sound

.... and on and on....

It's absolutely no wonder why so many (the majority actually) or beginning guitarists simply give up, in frustration. At the lack of progress. At not getting a nice sound. At the lack of - FUN.
